On 29 Jestha 2083 (Friday), the National Human Rights Commission, Karnali Province Branch Office Jumla was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission, Mr. Tap Bahadur Magar. The inauguration ceremony marked an important milestone in strengthening the Commission’s presence and human rights protection efforts in Karnali Province.

On Thursday, 28 Jestha 2083, an interaction and discussion program on the overall human rights situation in Karnali Province was organized by the NHRC Jumla. The program provided a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on key human rights issues, challenges, and priorities concerning the province and to exchange views on measures for the promotion and protection of human rights.
